JOY SPEARCHIEF-MORRIS

Joy SpearChief-Morris is an Indigenous Black Canadian journalist and former athlete. From Lethbridge, Alberta, she is a proud member of the Kainai Blood Tribe, who reports on the toughest Indigenous issues in our country and telling Indigenous stories through Indigenous voices. Joy's former experiences as a high- performance athlete translates into her sports reporting with Canada's top performers. Joy has pieces published in The Globe and Mail, The Toronto Star, The Narwhal, The Walrus, CBC and Sportsnet.
